Little Barn Lane, Mansfield - Temporary Prohibitions Of Traffic For Carriageway Resurfacing Works

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(LITTLE BARN LANE, MANSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONS) ORDER 2026 (M26-070)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Mansfield in the District of Mansfield The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road

a. Little Barn Lane, Mansfield- From its junction with Brewers Way to its junction with The Chantry

2. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unloading (At all times) (Both sides) in the following length of road

a. Little Barn Lane, Mansfield - From its junction with Brewers Way to its junction with The Chantry

3. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.

4. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above
road or roads will apply as follows:
From 08:00, Wednesday 27th May 2026
Until 16:00 Tuesday 2nd June 2026 Daily.

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:

Little Barn Lane, Southwell Road West, Big Barn Lane, Eakring Road, Little Barn Lane and vice versa The Order will come into force on Wednesday 27th May 2026 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. 

The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).

The prohibition is required to Enable Via East Midlands on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to carry out Carriageway resurfacing works
