THE FIFE COUNCIL (VARIOUS STREETS, PITLESSIE & BALMALCOLM - SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2026
Fife Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce speed limits on various streets in Pitlessie and Balmalcolm as follows:- 20mph speed limit – Cupar Road, Pitlessie from High Street northeasterly for approx. 212 metres and from High Street southwesterly for approx. 65 metres; and B914 Balmalcolm from a point approx. 50 metres northeast of the extended northeast property boundary of The Old Manse southwesterly to the extended south property boundary of Rose Cottage: 40mph speed limit – A914 Pitlessie approx. 212 metres northeast of the junction with High Street, Pitlessie northeasterly for approx. 400 metres; and B914 Balmalcolm approx. 50 metres northeast of the extended northeast property boundary of The Old Manse northeasterly for approx. 400 metres. Full details of the proposals may be examined during opening hours at Fife Council Headquarters, Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes and via public access pc’s at your closest library.
