TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC 149878499 : The City of Manchester (Gillbrook Road , Didsbury East Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrian Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit pedestrian traffic on Gillbrook Road. The alternative routes for pedestrian traffic will be: Wilmslow Road, Grange Lane, Gillbrook Road vice versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate trial holes. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 19th May 2026 to the 20th May 2026. The order shall come into operation on the 19th May 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of six months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
