(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding along the length of road set out in the Schedule below whilst the Order is in force. During such periods as are indicated by traffic signs informing the public that the road is closed.
The Order is necessary to enable OPENREACH to carry out civil engineering works in the road.
The Order will come into force on the 25th May 2026 and shall continue in force for a maximum duration of 18 months, or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner, but it is anticipated the works will take 1 day to complete.
SCHEDULE
Pant Howell Ddu will be closed from Goytre Farm in a southerly direction for 100m along its length.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic. Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained.
