NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Middlesbrough has made the following Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 32, 35 and (1), 45, 46, 46A, 47, 49, 51, 53, 84 (1) and (2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act.
The Order will amend the Schedules of The Council of the Borough of Middlesbrough (East and West Area) (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2024 (as amended) as listed in the First Schedule hereto; and amend the Schedules of The Council of the Borough of Middlesbrough (South Area) (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation Order 2024) as listed in the Second Schedule hereto.
Full details and descriptions are contained in the order which, together with associated plans and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the order can be viewed at Central Library, Centre Square, Middlesbrough, TS1 2AY between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (excluding bank holidays) and at www.middlesbrough.gov.uk.
If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with that person may, within six weeks from the date of this notice apply for that purpose to the High Court. FIRST SCHEDULE The following Schedules of The Council of the Borough of Middlesbrough (East and West Area) (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2024 are amended as follows: Items 17 & 18 Adcott Road, item 53 Bewley Grove, item 148 Eastbourne Road, item 196 Hall Drive, item 202 Hemlington Road are deleted from Schedule 1 - No Waiting; items 642 & 643 Adcott Road, item 644 Bewley Grove, item 645 Eastbourne Road, items 646 & 647 Gainsborough Road, items 648, 649, 650, 651, 652, 653, 654, 655, 656 & 657 Hall Drive, items 658 & 659 Hesleden Avenue, items 660 & 661 Premier Road, items 662, 663 & 664 Sulby Avenue, items 665 & 666 The Derby, items 667, 668, 669 & 670 Trimdon Avenue are added to Schedule 1 - No Waiting; and items 50, 51 & 52 Alan Peacock Way are added to Schedule 2 - No Loading.
SECOND SCHEDULE The following Schedules of The Council of the Borough of Middlesbrough (South Area) (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2024 are amended as follows: Items 112, 113, 114 & 115 Guisborough Road, items 116, 117 & 118 Gypsy Lane, item 119 Hemlington Road, items 120 & 121 Marton Moor Road, items 122 & 123 Rookwood Road, item 124 The Avenue and item 125 Yew Tree Grove are added to Schedule 1 - No Waiting.
