HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") Wedi gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:
1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 25ain Mai 2026 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar 20fed Mai 2026, gan weithredu rhwng 08:00 – 17:00. Bydd y ffordd yn cau dros gyfnodau gwahanol ar y diwrnod hwn - mae manylion yr amseroedd wedi'u manylu isod. Noder y gall yr amseroedd hyn newid yn dibynnu ar gynnydd y gwaith.
2. Roedd y Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i wneud gwaith yn gosod polion mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.
3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd:
08:00-11:00
I) Cau dros dro ran o Heol Pwll-Wern, Great Oak, Sir Fynwy, ~70m o'r gyffordd â Heol Box Bush am ~65m.
11:00-17:00
II) Cau dros dro ran o Lôn Handy, Great Oak, Sir Fynwy, ~55m o'r gyffordd â Heol Box Bush am ~60m.
4. Roedd llwybr dargyfeirio ag arwyddion fel a ganlyn: Pwll Wern yr Heolydd, Great Oak – Pwll Wern yr Heolydd, Great Oak – Pwll Wern yr Heolydd, Pwll-Y-Groes, Lôn Handy, Lôn John Smiths, Heol Bryngwyn ac i’r gwrthwyneb.
5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Pwll Wern yr Heolydd a Lôn Handy, Great Oak, Sir Fynwy 2026.
6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PIT-WERN-YR-HEOLYDD AND HANDY LANE, GREAT OAK, MONMOUTHSHIRE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2026
1. The Order came into operation on the 25th May 2026 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 25th May 2026, operating between 08:00-17:00. he closures will be carried out in phases on this day, details of the timings are detailed below. Please note that these times are subject to change dependent on the progress of the works.
2. The order was necessary for Poling works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.
3. The effect of the order was:
08:00-11:00
I) To temporarily close a section of Pit-Wern-Yr-Heolydd, Great Oak, Monmouthshire, ~70m from its junction with Box Bush Road for ~65m. 11:00-17:00 II) To temporarily close a section of Handy Lane, Great Oak, Monmouthshire, ~55m from its junction with Box Bush Road for ~60m.
4. A signed diversionary route was in place for each of the closures as follows:- Pit-Wern-Yr-Heolydd, Great Oak – Pit-Wern-Yr-Heolydd, Pwll-Y-Groes, Handy Lane, John Smiths Lane, Bryngwyn Road and vice versa. Handy Lane, Great Oak – John Smiths Lane, Box Bush Road, Pit-Wern-Yr-Heolydd, Pwll-Y-Groes, Handy Lane and vice versa.
5. This order may be cited as the Pit-Wern-Yr-Heolydd and Handy Lane, Great Oak, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026
6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
