THE FIFE COUNCIL (VARIOUS STREETS, GUARDBRIDGE & LEUCHARS - SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2026

Fife Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce speed limits on various streets in Guardbridge and Leuchars as follows:- 20mph speed limit –  Cupar Road, Guardbridge from Main Street westerly for approx. 45 metres; Kinnear Court, Guardbridge for its entire length; Main Street, Guardbridge from Cupar Road northerly for approx. 206 metres; A91, Guardbridge from Main Street easterly for approx. 32 metres; Old St Andrews Road, Guardbridge from A91 northerly for approx. 42 metres; Old St Andrews Road, Guardbridge from its western termination easterly for approx. 253 metres; Station Road, Leuchars from Main Street southerly for approx. 30 metres; and Main Street, Leuchars from Station Road northwesterly for approx. 285 metres: 30mph speed limit – A91, Guardbridge from approx.  175 metres east of the junction with Main Street easterly for approx. 146 metres: and 40mph speed limit – A919, approx. 285 metres northwest of the junction with Main Street, Leuchars northwesterly for approx. 1220 metres. Full details of the proposals may be examined during opening hours at Fife Council Headquarters, Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes and via public access pc’s at your closest library. The documents will also be available online at www.fife.gov.uk/notices Objections to the proposals, stating the grounds of objection and the objector’s name & address, should be sent to Traffic Management, Roads & Transportation Service, Bankhead Central, Bankhead Park, Glenrothes, Fife KY7 6GH or by e-mail to traffic.management@fife.gov.uk by 12/06/26.
