(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable pre surface patching works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic (i.e. vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists), from proceeding along that section of the U1108, Capon Tree Hill from its junction with the U1107 Capon Tree Road, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 450m.
There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 18 May 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 10 days, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
