(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Cadlick Construction to carry out bank stabilisation and path resurfacing works (“the Works”), Cumberland Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along an approx. 470m length of Public Footpath No. 120008 in the Parish of Kingmoor between grid refs 337871 559723 and 338280 559578.

There is no suitable alternative route available for pedestrians however, the contractor on site will provide a suitable alternative route at times when works allow and is deemed safe to do so. This will be signed on site.

The Order will come into operation on 18 May 2026 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required for 3 weeks.
