(ROADS PROGRAMME) (BATCH 3) (ROAD CLOSURE) (008/67) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council made the above Order on 11th May 2026.

The effect of the Order will be to allow the closure of the following lengths of road between the hours specified. The exact date and times of the closures will be advertised locally.

Road Extent Times
Welbeck Avenue For its entire length 07:30-16:30
Westborne Crescent For its entire length 07:30-16:30
Oakmount Avenue For its entire length 07:30-16:30
Arnold Road For its entire length 07:30-16:30
Mayfield Road For its entire length 07:30-16:30
Highclere Road For its entire length 09:30-14:30
Rockleigh Road For its entire length 07:30-16:30

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are carriageway resurfacing works.

The alternative route will be advertised locally.

The Order will come into force on 18th May 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be complete by 16th November 2026.
