Ashwick - Temporary Road Closure Due To Phased Water Main Renovation Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Ashwick Temporary Closure of Blackey Lane To Withy Lane and Ash Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Blackey Lane To Withy Lane - from the junction with Withy Lane, northwards for a distance of 880 metres and Ash Lane - from the junction with Withy Lane, north-eastwards for a distance of 409 metres. A total distance of 1289 metres. This Order will enable Bristol Water to carry out phased main renovation works (as and when signed on site).
The Order becomes effective on 15th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 18th May 2026 and last until 10th July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 54 days.
