Court Lane - Temporary Road Closure Due To Service Installation Works

Somerset Council Parishes of Beckington and Berkley Temporary Closure of Court Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Court Lane - from 26 metres south of the junction with A36 From J B3099 to J A361 East of Beckington, eastwards for a total distance of 104 metres. This Order will enable Wales & West Utilities to lay new service.

The Order becomes effective on 29th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 2nd June 2026 and last until 5th June 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 4 days. There is no alternative route for this closure.
