Somerset Council Parish of Yeovil Temporary Closure of King Street

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: King Street - from the junction with Goldcroft to the junction with Crofton Avenue. A total distance of 167 metres.

This Order will enable Heidelberg to carry out prep and resurfacing works on behalf of Somerset Highways.

The Order becomes effective on 29th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 4th June 2026 and last until 12th June 2026 between the hours of 07:30 - 18:00 for a total of 9 days.
