(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 76, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Bristol Close in a southerly direction for approximately 36 metres.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 18 May 2026 to 24 June 2026 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while the reconstruction of the southern end of the path takes place.

Alternative route: Downhall Park Way and Harberts Way and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 18 May 2026 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hawkwell Park Drive, Hawkwell in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Main Road to its junction with Park Gardens, a distance of approximately 40m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th June 2026 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30067405632 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while permanent reinstatement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Park Gardens, Glenwood Avenue, Heycroft Road, Hill Lane, Main Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 21st May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Morris Avenue, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Warner Close to its junction with Outwood Common Road a distance of approximately 80m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th June 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2400486 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Outwood Common Road, Greenway, Morris Avenue and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 21st May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(A13 London Road, South Benfleet)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic &

Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order

    1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in the schedule.

  1. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

“The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 7th May 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction in that length of Bromfords Drive Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Nevendon Road for a distance of approximately 490m in a north westerly direction.

“The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’

The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while portakabin delivery works are undertaken by Portakabin.

The Order came into effect on 7th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, Ramsden Bellhouse)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Ramsden Bellhouse in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Orchard Avenue for a distance of approximately 100m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th May 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30098475158 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Downham Road, School Road, Sudbury Road, Brock Hill, Church End Lane, A132, A129 and vice versa (with access only into Church Road).

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Oak Road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Oak Avenue to its junction with Gardiners Lane North a distance of approximately 850m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th May 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2400332-01 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30 MPH speed restriction in that length of Rawreth Lane, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 905m south east of its junction with Chelmsford Road for a distance of approximately 335m in a south easterly direction. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 26th May 2026 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M123957 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while valve installation works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Rochford as specified in the schedule.

A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway as per the schedule to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
