TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East Midlands) (No.9) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a length of Piper Lane at Carburton, Worksop, in the District of Bassetlaw. This is to enable development as permitted by Bassetlaw District Council under reference 22/01412/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO4901024). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Worksop Library, Memorial Avenue, Worksop, Mansfield, S80 2BP.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 15 May 2026.
