(Footpath 3,4 & 5, Cold Norton, Footpath 4, Stow Maries and Footpath 11 & 13, Purleigh) (Special Event) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close the following length of Footpath 3, 4 & 5, Cold Norton, Footpath 4 Stow Maries and Footpath 11 & 13, Purleigh in the District of Maldon:

Footpath 3, Cold NortonFrom its junction with Flambirds Chase, east for approximately 575 metres up to the parish boundary where it becomes Footpath 13, Purleigh.
Footpath 13, PurleighFrom its junction with Footpath 3, Cold Norton, east to its junction with Footpath 14 Purleigh approximately 875 metres.
Footpath 11, PurleighFrom its junction with Flambirds Chase, south to its junction with Footpath 4 Cold Norton approximately 533 metres.
Footpath 4, Cold NortonFrom its junction with Footpath 11, Purleigh south for its entire length to its junction with Footpath 5 Cold Norton.
Footpath 5, Cold NortonFrom its junction with Footpath 4 Cold Norton to its junction with Footpath 4 Stow Maries approximately 800 metres.
Footpath 4, Stow MariesFrom its junction with Footpath 5, Cold Norton east then south to its junction with Footpath 3, Stow Maries for approximately 587 metres.
The alternative route for the above footpath closures will be via: Ackman’s Lane or FP3 Stow Maries, FP7 Cold Norton, FP2 Cold Norton, FP8 Purleigh and vice versa.

The temporary closures are scheduled to commence on 24 May 2026, 16 August 2026 and 12 and 13 September 2026 between the hours of 0800 hours and 16:00 hours where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, are required for the safety of the public while events take place at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome.

The Orders will come into effect on 24 May 2026 and may continue in force 6 months or until the events have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ferry Road, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ferry Road, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 360m south west of its junction with Creeksea Lane for a distance of approximately 40m in a south westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th June 2026 for 1 night (22:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701WS-42-28-180626 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while structure examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

No diversion route is available.

The Order will come into effect on 21st May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Little Baddow Road, Woodham Walter) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Little Baddow Road, Woodham Walter in the District Maldon, from its junction with Stivvys Road to its junction with Common Lane a distance of approximately 660m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th June 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2397277 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Little Baddow Road, Spring Elms Lane, Mill Lane, The Ridge, Little Baddow Road, A414, Runsell Green, London Road, Herbage Park Road, Church Hill, Little Baddow Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 21st May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Lodge Road, Hazeleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lodge Road, Hazeleigh in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 285m north east of its junction with Burnham Road for a distance of approximately 150m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th June 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGNRFT5V – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.

An alternative route is available via Lodge Road, A414, B1010, Lodge Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 21st May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rectory Lane, Woodham Mortimer) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rectory Lane, Woodham Mortimer in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 400m north east of its junction with Burnham Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th June 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGQH733F – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.

An alternative route is available via Rectory Lane, A414, Post Office Road, B1010, Rectory Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 21st May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rectory Lane, Latchingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rectory Lane, Latchingdon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Burnham Road a distance of approximately 80m in a southerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th June 2026 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit (N5004P105712N0025498-R1 – The Electricity Network Company Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct installation works are undertaken by The Electricity Network Company Limited.

An alternative route is available via Rectory Lane, Lower Burnham Road, Fambridge Road, Cold Norton Road, The Street, Burnham Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 21st May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Street, Latchingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Latchingdon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Ramsey Chase for a distance of approximately 40m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th June 2026 for 1 night (19:00-23:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD037R061312647/1 – Anglian Water Business (national) Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (national) Limited.

An alternative route is available via Scotts Hill, David Fisher Way, Southfield Way, Burnham Road, Southminster Road, Church Road, Maldon Road, Fambridge Road, Lower Burnham Road, Cold Norton Road and vice versa (with access only into B1018).

The Order will come into effect on 21st May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ferry Road, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ferry Road, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 360m south west of its junction with Creeksea Lane for a distance of approximately 15m in a south westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd June 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (KL721WIS-42-29-020626 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while vegetation removal works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

No diversion route is available.

The Order came into effect on 7th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Keelings Road, Dengie) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Keelings Road, Dengie in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 90m north east of its junction with Manor Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th June 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGNRDG3S – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.

An alternative route is available via Keelings Road, Grange Road, B1021, Manor Road, Keelings Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 7th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Lawlinge Road, Latchingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lawlinge Road, Latchingdon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Steeple Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a southerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th May 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008FBR5221902SB – Openreach Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Lawlinge Road, Burnham Road, Steeple Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 7th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Main Road, Mundon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Main Road, Mundon in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 225m north east of its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 550m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th June 2026 for 8 hours, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WGKMC76J01SB – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.

An alternative route is available via Main Road, Burnham Road, Fambridge Road, Limebrook Way, Mariners Way, Limebrook Way Roundabout, Park Drive, Mundon Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 7th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
