Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections (1), 2(1) to (4), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1),45, 46, 49, 53, 82(1) & (2)(a), 83(2), 84(1)(a) and (2), and Parts IV and III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and Section 90(A-F) of the Highways Act 1980.

The height of the Raised Table is 75mm with a gradient of 1:12

NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026
FOOTPATH 39 WETHERSFIELD
The above order, made on 14 April 2026 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert a part length of Footpath 39 Wethersfield of unknown width shown by a bold continuous line on the order map commencing from point A at grid reference 57388,23203 where it enters the property garden of New Barns Farm running in a north easterly direction across the garden through fences and an outbuilding for a total distance of 152 metres to point B at grid reference 57396,23216 where it connects to Byway 17 Wethersfield, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing at the aforementioned point A running in a north north westerly direction along a naturally surfaced track for a total distance of 56 metres to point C at grid reference 57386,23209 where it connects to Byway 17 Wethersfield.
Copies of the order and order map can be requested to be posted or viewed by emailing publicpathorders@essexhighways.org to arrange a suitable time to inspect the documents quoting the Order title. Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-4.30pm Mon-Fri at Essex County Council, County Hall, E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford if so required following the current social distancing restrictions. Copies of the order and order map are available on Essex Highways website at: www.essexhighways.org/public-path-notices and have also been sent to Braintree District Council and Wethersfield Parish Council.
Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Public Path Orders, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH not later than 11 June 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.
(Elm Lane, Feering/Marks Tey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Elm Lane, Feering/Marks Tey in the District of Braintree and City of Colchester, from the junction with A120 Coggeshall Road to the junction with Langley Green Road a distance of approximately 1650m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th June 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2397743 & EP201EH2397743A – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Little Fy Road, Wils Green, Hanover Square, The Street, Coggeshall Road, Feering Road, A1024, Colchester Road, A120 Coggeshall Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21st May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Hatfield Peverel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 40m north west of its junction with De Vere Close for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th May 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03167361043 – Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stoptap replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via B1137, B1019 and vice versa (with access only into Church Road).
The Order came into effect on 7th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hollies Road, Bradwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Hollies Road, Bradwell in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 380m south east of its junction with Lanham Green Road for a distance of approximately 170m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th May 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30062609706 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree trimming works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Links Road, Boars Tye Road, Lanham Green, Withies Green, Lanham Green Road and vice versa (with access only into Hollies Road).

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Lombard Street, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Willows Road for a distance of approximately 125m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th May 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30045030396 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree cutting works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Wethersfield Road, Daw Street, Whinbush Farm Road, Cross Hill, Willows Road and vice versa (with access only into Lombard Street).
The Order came into effect on 7th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Station Road, White Notley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Station Road, White Notley in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 510m north east of its junction with Witham Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a north easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th May 2026 – (01:45 - 04:45) for 2 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (KL735BRA-21-11-280526 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail corrosion works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
