The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No.19) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a western part width of Old Chester Road at Great Sutton, in Cheshire. This is to enable development as permitted by Cheshire West and Chester Council under reference 25/03590/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/6246). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Hope Farm Road Sub Post Office, 3 Hope Farm Precinct, Great Sutton, Ellesmere Port, CH66 2RG.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 14 May 2026.
