(AMENDMENT NO. 165) TRAFFIC ORDER 2026 AND THE HARROW

(PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. 61) TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harrow on 13th May 2026 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 45, 46, 84, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

The general effect of the Orders would be:-

a) to introduce a 20mph speed limit on Berrington Road, Bodmin Close, Hamilton Crescent, Hodson Close, Jordan Close, Kings Road, Perwell Avenue and Warden Avenue (between its junctions with Alexandra Avenue and Kings Road);

b) on the south-east side of Kings Road, to convert 8.0 metres of double yellow lines outside Nos. 274 to 276 Kings Road, to single yellow line (hours of control Monday to Friday 10am to 11am) and two residents’ parking bays (hours of control Monday to Friday 10am to 11am);

c) on the north side of Warden Avenue, to convert 15.6 metres of single yellow line (hours of control Monday to Friday 10am to 11am) and two residents’ parking bays (hours of control Monday to Friday 10am to 11am) outside Nos. 2 to 12 Warden Avenue, to double yellow lines;

d) on the north side of Warden Avenue, to convert 8.0 metres of single yellow line (hours of control Monday to Friday 10am to 11am) and one residents’ parking bay (hours of control Monday to Friday 10am to 11am) outside Nos. 34 to 38 Warden Avenue, to double yellow lines; and

e) on the south side of Warden Avenue, to convert 26 metres of single yellow line (hours of control: Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm) outside Nos. 1 to 5 Warden Avenue, to double yellow lines.

A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on 18th May 2026 and of relevant previous Orders can be inspected until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m, Monday to Saturday and 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Sunday, excluding Bank Holidays.

Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
