NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic RegulationAct 1984, the Traffic ManagementAct 2004 and all other powers so enabling, intends to make the above-named Order.
The effect of the Order, if made, will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by introducing ‘no waiting at any time’ parking restrictions on sections of Station Road in Bedlington.
The restrictions can also be viewed in map format, as the maps form part of the map-based schedule to the Order. (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9519 BarrasAvenue West, Blyth from its junction with C412 Plessey Road in a southerly direction for a length of 60 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 6th June 2026 until the 6th December 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on 6th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 13:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 6th December 2026.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9551 Langdale Drive, Cramlington from its point opposite 55 Langdale Drive in a northerly direction for a length of 25 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 9th June 2026 until the 16th June 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed on 9th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 13:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 16th June 2026.

The Order is to be effective from the 8th June 2026 until the 8th December 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th July 2026 until the 24th July 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 8th December 2026.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9535 Avenue Crescent Back Lane Seaton Delaval from its point at the rear of 6 Avenue Crescent for a distance of 19 metres in a northeasterly direction in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 8th June 2026 until the 26th June 2026.
It is expected that the road will be closed from the 8th June 2026 until the 12th June 2026 at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 26th June 2026.

B1329 LINKS ROAD BLYTH
(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTICTION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the speed by vehicular traffic from 60 MPH down to 40 MPH on that section of the B1329 Links Road northbound carriageway from its point 9 metres south of its junction with the Blyth Valley Bridleway 047 for a distance of 781 metres heading north-west in the County of Northumberland.
There will also be a temporary lane closure on that section of the B1329 Links Road northbound carriageway from its point 27 metres north of its junction with Gloucester Lodge Cottages for a distance of 423 metres heading north west in the County of Northumberland.
The Order will further prohibit ‘No Right Turns’ and ‘No U Turns’ by vehicular traffic in both directions on the section of the A193 Links Road from its point 9 metres south of its junction with the Blyth Valley Bridleway 047 for a distance of 781 metres heading north-west. The Order is to be effective from the 22nd May 2026 until the 25th May 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be restricted from the 22nd May 2026 at 08:00 hours until the 25th May 2026 at 13:00 hours during this period. From its junction with Twelfth Avenue in a southerly direction for a length of 90 metres.
From its point opposite 56 Eighth Avenue in a southerly direction for a length of 25 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 27th May 2026 until the 28th May 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on 27th May 2026 between the hours of 09:00 & 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 28th May 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Twentieth Avenue, Twentyfifth Avenue, Twentysixth Avenue, Newlands Road, Fifteenth Avenue, Sixth Avenue, Twelfth Avenue, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 26th May 2026 until the 31st December 2026.
Road closures
• C404 Palace Road from its junction with Station Road heading south eastwards for a distance of 63 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd August 2026 until the 28th August 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the C404, A1147, A189, B1331, U6724, C405 and vice versa.
• C404 Station Street (northbound carriageway only) for its entire length. Expected work dates are 26th May 2026 to 31st May 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U6724, B1331, A1147, C406, C404.
• C405 Station Road for its entire length.
Expected work dates for the section from the roundabout with Bower Grange to the junction next to 1 Rothesay Terrace are yet to be confirmed however they will be signposted in advance of commencement of works. Expected work dates for the section from the Level crossing to the Coop store will be from the 21st September until the 2nd October 2026 between 20:00 and 06:00.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the C404, A1147, A189, B1331, U6724, C405 and vice versa.
• U6549 Bower Grange from its junction with Station Road heading northwards for a distance of 56 metres.
Expected work dates are yet to be confirmed however they will be signposted in advance of commencement of works.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.
• U6724 Melrose Villas Taylors Buildings from its junction with Station Road heading southwards for a distance of 111 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 21st September 2026 until the 2nd October 2026 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the U6724, B1331, C405 and vice versa.
• U6542 Palace Road from its junction with St Johns Road heading southwards for a distance of 35 metres.
Expected work dates are yet to be confirmed however they will be signposted in advance of commencement of works.
No alternative route is available for this closure.
• C405 Rothesay Terrace Victoria Terrace from its junction with Station Road heading westwards for a distance of 170 metres. Expected work dates are yet to be confirmed however they will be signposted in advance of commencement of works.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force and will be signposted accordingly. • C404 St Johns Road for its entire length.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th June 2026 until the 31st July 2026.

U9503 UNION STREET, BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on a section of the U9503 Union Street from its junction with Bridge Street for a distance of 51 metres in a northerly direction in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 16th May 2026 until the 18th May 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 17th May 2026 between the hours of 06:00 and 18:00; however, the order will remain in place until the 18th May 2026.
In addition the effect of this Order will be to temporarily suspend the Traffic Regulation Order – TRO_311, (Bridge Street Blyth One way, Prohibition of Entry, Left Turn and Right Turn Restrictions Order 2024) to allow for two way traffic on the U9503 Rink Street for its entire length and U9503 Post Office Street for its entire length to facilitate an alternative route. It is expected that the suspension will only be in place on the 17th May 2026 between the hours of 06:00 and 18:00.
