What is happening?
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.
VARIOUS ROADS, LOUGHBOROUGH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
INCLUDING PEDESTRIANS, EQUESTRIANS & NON-MOTORISED TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
It is expected that the Order will come into force on 08/06/2026 and have a maximum duration of 12 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway repair works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 08/06/2026 and have a maximum duration of 18 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 18 months to allow HG Construction to undertake works on the new Fusion Student Accommodation Development.

The Order will come into force on 26/05/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow MJ Quinn on behalf of BT Openreach to undertake replacement of a manhole cover & frame. No speed limit imposed by this order applies to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.
