Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Newhouse Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 20m south west of its junction with Hayhouse Road for a distance of approximately 970m in a south westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th June 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA140RSl2890006-RC – Gigaclear). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of pots and fibre works are undertaken by Gigaclear.
No diversion route is available.
The Order will come into effect on 21st May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
