What is happening?

London Borough of Harrow

The Harrow (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. **) Traffic Order 20** and The Harrow (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) (Amendment No. **) Traffic Order 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harrow proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

The general effect of the Orders would be:-

a. on the outer kerb-line of the turning head outside the entrance to Roxeth School in Brickfields, to extend the existing School Keep Clear markings by 51.12 metres. The hours of control will be amended to Monday to Friday 8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm;

b. on the inner kerb-line of the turning head outside the entrance to Roxeth School in Brickfields, to introduce School Keep Clear markings (hours of control: Monday to Friday 8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm) for a distance of 31.56 metres;

c. to extend the existing School Keep Clear markings on D’Arcy Gardens, by 9 metres on both sides of the road. The hours of control will be amended to Monday to Friday 8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm;

d. on the east side of Glebe Lane, to introduce 31.56 metres of School Keep Clear markings (hours of control: Monday to Friday 8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm), outside the flank boundary of No. 72 Tonbridge Crescent;

e. on the east side of Glebe Lane, to introduce 87.12 metres of School Keep Clear markings (hours of control: Monday to Friday 8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm), between the junctions Glenamond Road and Tonbridge Crescent;

f. on the west side of Glebe Lane, to extend the existing School Keep Clear markings, outside the rear of Nos. 75 to 85 D’Arcy Gardens. The hours of control will be amended to Monday to Friday 8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm;

g. on both sides of Moorhouse Road, to introduce 43.56 metres of School Keep Clear markings (hours of control: Monday to Friday 8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm) outside Nos. 65 to 103 Moorhouse Road;

h. on the north side of Oakley Road, to extend existing School Keep Clear markings by 37.56 metres opposite Nos. 12 and 14 Oakley Road. The hours of control (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm) will not be affected;

i. on the east side of Potter Street Hill, to introduce 43.56 metres of School Keep Clear markings (hours of control: Monday to Friday 8am to 10am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm) outside Potters End and Lee-House, Potter Street Hill;

j. to extend by 6 metres at either end the existing School Keep Clear markings, on St David’s Drive. The hours of control (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm) will not be affected;

k. on both sides of Warerford Road, to introduce 87.12 metres of School keep Clear markings (hours of control: Monday to Friday 8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm) outside Nos. 60 to 92 Warerford Road;

l. on the south-west side of Welbeck Road, to introduce 43.56 metres of School Keep Clear markings (hours of control: Monday to Friday 8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm) outside Nos. 164 to 174 Welbeck Road; and

m. on the south-west side of Welbeck Road, to introduce 12.2 metres of “at any time” waiting restrictions outside Nos. 166 to 170 Welbeck Road.

A copy of the proposed Orders and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Sunday, excluding Bank Holidays.

Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the address below or via email to; Head of Traffic, Highways and Asset Management at transportation@harrow.gov.uk quoting reference 26-11 AA. The deadline for objections is 23.59 hours on 3rd June 2026.
