BACK GIRLINGTON ROAD, BRADFORD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Back Girlington Road, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Back Girlington Road from its junction with Thorn Street to its junction with Duckworth Lane.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Thorn Street, Girlington Road, Duckworth Lane and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation effect at 08:00 hours on the 18th May 2026 and remain in force until 23:55 hours on the 26th May 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
