NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Havering proposes to make amendments to the following Orders as follows under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended

PTO 1274

a) Remove the existing loading bay on Ferry Lane, opposite Global House

b) Introduce no loading at any time restrictions on Ferry Lane, opposite Global House

c) Introduce no waiting at any time restrictions on Ferry Lane opposite Global House

d) Introduce a bus stop and stand on Ferry Lane, opposite Global House

PTO 1276

a) Introduce two bus stops with no stopping at any time restrictions on Lamson Road, near its junction with Ferry Lane

Any objections or other representations about any of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Highways Traffic and Parking Group Manager Havering Town Hall, Main Road, Romford RM1 3BB until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

A1306 NEW ROAD/MARSH WAY JUNCTION IMPROVEMENTS

ACCIDENT REDUCTION SCHEME

  1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Havering (“the Council”) under the ‘Highways Act 1980’ proposes to install the following proposals to reduce collisions and improve road safety for all road users at the 1306 New Road/Marsh Way Traffic Signals Junction.

    • New right turn lane with splitter island along A1306 New Road West Arm for vehicles turning right from A1306 New Road onto Marsh Way

    • Separate signal phases for vehicles turning right from A1306 New Road onto Marsh Way to remove traffic conflicts

  2. A copy of the plans showing the location of the proposed crossings together with the Council’s statement of reasons for these proposed measures may be viewed from 15th May 2026 to 5th June 2026 on the Councils website on the following link: https://consultation.havering.gov.uk/ 

  3. Any person desiring to object to the proposals or make other representation should send a statement in writing and the grounds thereof to: Group Manager, Highways, Traffic and Parking, Town Hall, Main Road, Romford, RM1 3BB, or by email at schemes@havering.gov.uk quoting 0X022 to arrive by 5th June 2026.
