However, the max duration of this Order is until 31/12/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpaths 05.42/24/1 & 05.42/18/1, Thornton In Lonsdale & 05.26/30/1, Ingleton & 05.9/11/1, Burton In Lonsdale, Order 2020 No 334 Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any public access along Public Footpaths 05.42/24/1 & 05.42/18/1, Thornton In Lonsdale & 05.26/30/1, Ingleton & 05.9/11/1, Burton In Lonsdale, between grid references SD68887278 & SD67607264, due to erosion resulting in the route not being safe for the Public has been continued in force until 18/02/27 or until the completion of the works (whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport.
