TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order: ORDER NO. MCC000 149928946 : The City of Manchester (City Road, Hulme Ward) (Temporary Suspension of Parking) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order will be to suspend the operation of the designated parking places on City Road from its junction with Royce Road to 204 City Road.
The Council is satisfied that the suspension is necessary in order to facilitate remediation works on City Edge apartments. It is expected that the work will be in progress between 18th May 2026 and 17th May 2027.
The Order shall come into operation on 18th May 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
