(SPEED LIMIT) (NO. 1) ORDER 2026

A642 SOUTHFIELD LANE (PART), HORBURY

The Council of the City of Wakefield proposes to make the above Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which, in relation to a road in Horbury, will be to:-

1.  Introduce a 30mph speed limit along the following road

A642 Southfield Lane (part), Horbury If you wish to examine the proposed Order you can view a copy on the website www.wakefield. gov.uk/tro. It does include copies of plans showing the proposed changes to the road as well as a Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order. If you have any queries regarding the Order, please email trafficregs@wakefield.gov.uk. If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection in writing or by email to trafficregs@wakefield.gov.uk to reach the undersigned by not later than 12 noon on 4th June 2026 quoting reference SLO/26/1.
