(PEMBROKE ROAD, NORTHAMPTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Pembroke Road, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Pembroke Road, Northampton from Gladstone Road to outside 166 Pembroke Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs on Gladstone Road.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 19th May 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use St Francis Avenue and Gladstone Road.

(MEADWAY, NORTHAMPTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Meadway, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Meadway, Northampton from Wellingborough Road for 15 metres.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs on Wellingborough Road.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th May 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Denton Road, Castle Ashby as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Denton Road, Castle Ashby from the junction of footpath KE2 to Castle Ashby Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during lid, frame and cover replacement works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th May 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Park Avenue North, Northampton from Kettering Road to Chestnut Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 21st May 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street, Kingsthorpe from the junction of Harborough Road to Welford Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Bellropes Square, Northampton – between no.’s 1 - 5.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during ducting works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th May 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety due to unsafe structure.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th May 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary.
