East Lothian - Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Closures
What is happening?
EAST LOTHIAN COUNCIL
in consultation with Police Scotland, has approved temporary road closures on roads accessing the Vert Roundabout, Haddington, to facilitate essential carriageway resurfacing works.
The closures will be implemented as detailed below:
A6137 Aberlady Road, Haddington (Davidson Terrace to Vert Roundabout)
Monday 25 May to Sunday 14 June 2026
A199 – Vert Roundabout to C157 Goatfield Road (Jet Garage)
Monday 25 May to Sunday 7 June 2026
A6137 – Vert Roundabout to Phillips Avenue
Monday 8 June to Friday 12 June 2026
To assist with traffic management on the diversion route, a parking suspension will also be in operation on the west side of the carriageway on A6093 Hardgate, Haddington, from: Monday 25 May to Sunday 7 June 2026
