(PUBLIC FOOTPATH BC26/2, PENN HILL ROAD, BATH) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a closure to the section of Public Footpath BC26/2 commencing from ST72636631 and proceeding in a generally E direction for approx 85m to a junction with Penn Hill Road at ST72716631.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely the applicant will be constructing a zebra crossing at the Penn Hill Road exit of the footpath. The Order will come into force on 25th May 2026 and will be effective for four weeks.
