COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICES THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL (CRAIGMADDIE ROAD NEAR BALDERNOCK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
On the 14 May 2026 the East Dunbartonshire
Council made the above named Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties and land adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on a section of Craigmaddie Road between its junctions with the A81 Strathblane Road and Tower Road, Baldernock, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Sunday 24 May 2026 until 23.59 hours on Sunday 31 May 2026.
Alternative Routes
The alternative routes will be by way of A81
Strathblane Road and Glasgow Road, the
A807 Auchenhowie Road, Milngavie, the A807 Balmore Road and Craigmaddie Road, and these routes will be sign posted.
