(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, WSCC intend to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:-
(i) Mill Lane, between Littleworth Lane and Bayley Paddock; and then
(ii) Littleworth Lane, between Mill Lane and High StreetThe Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst water mains replacement works are undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 1 June 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence in Mill Lane on 1 June 2026 and will take until 28 June 2026 to complete. Works will then commence in Littleworth Lane and are expected to be completed by 6 December 2026.
