Harriet Street - Temporary Suspension of ‘no Waiting at Any Time’
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford has made under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (HARRIET STREET TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ‘NO WAITING AT ANY TIME’) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a suspension of ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ parking restrictions on the west side of Harriet Street and the south side of Smith Street, Walkden, M28 3DR. The Order is necessary to provide an alternative parking solution on Harriet Street due to United Utilities carrying out sewer repairs.
The order is due to come into operation on Monday 8th June 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 21st June 2026.
