What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (as amended) - Central Way And McNicol Drive - (Temporary Banned Turns) Order 2026

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate deployment of temporary measures to prevent antisocial behaviour and associated works in Central Way and McNicol Drive, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles proceeding in a general: -
(a) north-easterly direction in Central Way, the south-to-east arm, from turning right into Central Way, the north-to-south arm;
(b) westerly direction in Central Way, the south-to-east arm, from turning right into McNicol Drive;
(c) northerly direction in Central Way, the north-to-south arm, from turning right into Central Way, the south-to-east arm;
(d) southerly direction in McNicol Drive from turning right into Central Way, the south-to-east arm;
(e) north-easterly direction in Central Way, the south-to-east arm, from turning into the opposite carriageway to the direction in which it was proceeding at its junction with Central Way, the north-to-south arm;
(f) westerly direction in Central Way, the south-to-east arm, from turning into the opposite carriageway to the direction in which it was proceeding at its junction with McNicol Drive;
(g) northerly direction in Central Way, the north-to-south arm, from turning into the opposite carriageway to the direction in which it was proceeding at its junction with Central Way, the south-to-east arm;
(h) southerly direction in McNicol Drive from turning into the opposite carriageway to the direction in which it was proceeding at its junction with Central Way, the south-to-east arm,

When and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) to (h) inclusive above will apply from 21st May 2026 to 26th May 2026 inclusive, or until the said scheme is completed, whichever is the earlier.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) to (h) inclusive above will not apply to a pedal cycle.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) to (h) inclusive above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
