What is happening?

PETERBOROUGH CITY COUNCIL

STANGROUND SOUTH BUS GATE ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that The Council of the City of Peterborough proposes to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, ‘the Act of 1984’, following consultation with the Chief Officer of the Police and all other enabling powers.

The effect of this Order is to restrict the use of the following roads to Local Buses, Taxis and Pedal Cycles, at all times, as detailed below:

a) Apollo Avenue from its junction with Peterborough Road to a point 30m east of that junction.

b) Bellona Drive between the roundabout at its junction with Whittlesey Road and its junction with Constantine Drive Copies of the draft order, along with a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be viewed on the link below or requested by contacting 01733 747474. https://peterborough.statmap.co.uk/tro/map.html?login=tro_public &order=408

If you have any objections to the proposed Order they must be submitted via the above link or in writing to the undersigned by the closing date of 4th June 2026 clearly stating your reasons for objecting.

STREET PARKING PLACES)

Notice is hereby given that The Council of the City of Peterborough proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Section 45(1) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, ‘the Act of 1984’ and of all other enabling powers.

This Order will amend and make further parking restrictions to the Council of the City of Peterborough (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Order 2013 to the extent only as set out below. In all other respects the above Order and its previous amendments remain in force. 

It is proposed to amend parking restrictions as shown below:

1. Bourges Boulevard – O/S 1091
