THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (A7, SHERIFFHALL TO NEWTONGRANGE) (30 MPH SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 202_                     - TO/R5.3.187

The Council proposes to reduce speed limits on sections of the A7 road between the A720 Sheriffhall Roundabout and Newtongrange from 60 mph and 40 mph to 30 mph. Details may be examined from 14 May to 5 June 2026 at Libraries, at TellMeScotland@gov.uk, or from david.chambers@midlothian.gov.uk. Anyone wishing to object to this proposal should send details of their grounds of objection in writing, quoting reference R5.3.187, to The Legal Services Manager, Midlothian Council, Fairfi eld House, 8 Lothian Road, Dalkeith EH22 3AA or to legal@midlothian.gov.uk, to arrive not later than 5 June 2026

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (BROOMIEKNOWE GARDENS AND GOLF COURSE ROAD JUNCTIONS WITH HILLHEAD, BONNYRIGG) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026  TTRO/T4.337B

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffi c Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate SGN mains replacement works on Hillhead, Broomieknowe Gardens junction with Hillhead and Golf Course Road junction with Hillhead will be closed in phases during the said works. The Order has effect on 1 June 2026 and shall remain in force up to and including 28 June 2026. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffi c will be clearly sign posted.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (HIGH STREET/HILLHEAD, BONNYRIGG) (TEMPORARY PARKING SUSPENSION WITH WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026  TTRO/R 5.4.337A

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Midlothian Council has made a temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffi c Regulation Act 1984, as amended, prohibiting parking, waiting, loading and unloading from outside 117/119 High Street onto Hillhead to just past the Broomieknowe junction, both kerblines. The Order shall have effect on 1 June 2026 and shall remain in force up to and including 28 June 2026. The restrictions are necessary to facilitate SGN mains replacement works.
