U6108 THE AVENUE MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of U6108 The Avenue from its junction with The Crossway in an easterly direction for a length of 25 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 4th June 2026 until the 9th June 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on 4th June 2026 between the hours of 09:00 & 13:00. However, the order will remain in place until 9th June 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being The Crossway, Churchburn Drive, Great North Road South, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U9050 SMITHY COTTAGES TO
COLDCOATES JUNCTION BELSAY
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9050 Smithy Cottages to Coldcoates Junction Belsay 335 metres westwards from its junction with A696 The Beeches to Belsay heading in a further westwards direction for a distance of 780 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st June 2026 until the 8th June 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 1st June 2026 between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th June 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U9050, A696, C346, U9051, U9050 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9083 Errington Road Ponteland from its junction with U9083 Middle Drive to 67 Errington Road for a length of 375 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th June 2026 until the 2nd August 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th June 2026 until the 19th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd August 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Middle Drive, The Rise, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6323 Ponteland Road Heddon-on-the-Wall from its junction with the A69/A6085 in a northerly direction for a length of 140 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 8th June 2026 until the 8th December 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th June 2026 until the 12th June 2026 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th December 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A6085, A69, A1, A167, B6323, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

FOOTPATH NUMBER 2
(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Tritlington Public Footpath Number 2, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
Parish of Tritlington Public Footpath Number 2
From the U6007 road 40 metres south of Bridge House, Tritlington in a general north-westerly direction for a distance of 60 metres, crossing the River Lyne, via a footbridge, to a point 25 metres west of Bridge House, Tritlington.
There is no alternative route available.
The Order is to be effective from the 29th May 2026 until the 14th November 2026.

MAIN ROAD ELLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U2030 Ellingham Glebe to Main Road Ellingham from its junction with C70 Tynely Junction to Preston Junction heading in a north westerly direction for its entire length in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 25th May 2026 until the 5th June 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 25th May 2026 until the 29th May 2026 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th June 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C70, U2027, U2030 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the Stamford Farm Road from its point 350 metres east of B1340 Rennington To Christon Banks in an easterly direction for a length of 45 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 23rd May 2026 until the 24th May 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 23rd May 2026 until the 24th May 2026 between the hours of 23:00 & 08:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th May 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B1340, U3015, B1339 and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U6002 ESHOTTHEUGH JUNCTION TO
BLACKBROOK FARM JUNCTION, FELTON
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION
ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force:
Temporary Road Closure:
The U6002 Eshottheugh junction to Blacbrook Farm junction in Felton from its point 92 metres south-east of the entrance to Blackbrook Farm for a distance of 430 metres in a south-easterly, south-westerly then south-easterly direction (“the Road”) should continue to be prohibited, except for access for residents and farm vehicles, because there continues to be a likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the Road, which is not attributable to such works due to the concrete ford being washed out giving rise to safety concerns associated with the footbridge.
There is no alternative route for traffic for the duration of the Order.
