(U13009 Crundalls Lane, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U13009 Crundalls Ln from its junction with C2129 Trimpley Ln to its junction with U13010 Grey Green Ln.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing inc civils works by WCC.

Alternative route: Diversion anticlockwise: U13010 Grey Green Ln, U13010 Gloucester Way, B4190 Kidderminster Rd, B4190 Habberley Rd, C2129 Trimpley Ln. Diversion clockwise: C2129 Trimpley Ln, B4190 Habberley Rd, B4190 Kidderminster Rd (Eastbound), B4190 Catchens End Roundabout, B4190 Kidderminster Road (Westbound), U13010 Gloucester Way, U13010 Grey Green Ln.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 18 May 2026 and 29 May 2026.

(U12400 Hurcott Lane, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U12400 Hurcott Ln from its junction with U12401 Hurcott Villages for a distance of 193 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: U12400 Hurcott Ln (part), A451 Stourbridge Rd, A449 Stourbridge Rd, A449 Chester Rd North, U12401 Hurcott Rd, U12401 Hurcott Villages and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days.

Commencing: 6 June 2026.

(U12500 Offmore Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U12500 Offmore Rd from its junction with A449 Chester Rd North to its junction with U12501 Lorne St.

Reason: Remedial works by STW.

Alternative route: A449 Chester Rd North, A448 Comberton Rd, A448 Comberton Hill, U12506 George St, U12500 Offmore Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 20 May 2026.

(C2082 Cakebole, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2082 Cakebole from its junction with C2014 Curslow Ln to its junction with C2082 Cakebole Ln.

Reason: Surface dressing by WCC.

Alternative route: C2014 Curslow Ln, A442 Droitwich Rd, C2018 Clattercut Ln, C2082 Lunn Ln, C2082 Cakebole Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 15 May 2026 and 29 May 2026.

(U13233 Fairfield Lane, Wolverley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U13233 Fairfield Ln from its junction with U13234 Hayes Rd for a distance of 175 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Lay new kerb line and carriageway repair by WCC.

Alternative route: U13234 Hayes Rd, U13235 Sebright Rd, U13237 Hayes Rd, C2183 Lowe Ln, U13233 Fairfield Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days.

Commencing: 8 June 2026.

(U13601 Bournes Green Road, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U13601 Bournes Green Rd from its junction with U13604 Sink Rd to its junction with U13603 Broome Hill.

Reason: Pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: U13601 Bournes Green Rd (part), U13605 Chaddesley Ln, U13605 Woodcote Green Ln, C2059 Woodcote Ln, C2062 Dordale Rd, U20218 Waysome Ln, U13603 Broome Hill, U13601 Bournes Green Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 5 June 2026.

(U13209 Orchard Grove, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U13209 Orchard Grove from its junction with C2013 Caunsall Rd for a distance of 75 metres in a north-westerly direction.

Reason: Renew manhole cover by STW.

Alternative route: C2013 Caunsall Rd, C2128 Kinver Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 8 June 2026.

(C2141 Chadwick Lane, Hartlebury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2141 Chadwick Ln from its junction with B4193 Stourport Rd to its junction with U40021 Parsons Ln.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: B4193 Stourport Rd, B4193 Hartlebury Rd, A4025 Worcester Rd, A4025 Stourport Rd, C2141 Chadwick Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days.

Commencing: 8 June 2026.

(A456 Kidderminster Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of A456 Kidderminster Rd central reservation adjacent to the entrance to the West Midland Safari Park (no access from an easterly or westerly direction).

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: A456 Kidderminster Rd (Westbound), A456 Catchems End Roundabout, A456 Kidderminster Rd (Eastbound).

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

Commencing: 9 June 2026.

(B4189 Park Gate Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4189 Park Gate Rd from its junction with A451 Stourbridge Rd to its junction with Lea Castle Dr (NSG Ref 5703212).

Reason: Lay new ducting by National Grid.

Alternative route: Westbound Diversion – A451 Stourbridge Rd (southbound), A449 Chester Rd North Roundabout, A451 Stourbridge Rd (northbound), C2061 Beechtree Ln, A449 Wolverhampton Rd.

Eastbound Diversion – A449 Wolverhampton Rd, A451 Stourbridge Rd.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 13 days (24hrs).

Commencing: 8 June 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Wyre Forest District – Stourport area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2026 (Prohibition of Waiting on Windermere Way, Stourport on Severn)

On 30 April 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Stourport:

Windermere Way (south side): from a point of 31 metres east of its junction with Lorne Street for a distance of 30 metres in an easterly direction.

No Stopping at any time on School Entrance Markings

Windermere Way (north side): from a point of 6.5 metres north west of its junction with Lorne Street for a distance of 43.56 metres in a south easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 21 May 2026.

The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

Worcestershire County Council propose to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Kidderminster:

Lyndholm Road (north side): from its junction with A449 Chester Road North for a distance of 13 metres in a north easterly direction.

Lyndholm Road (south side): from its junction with A449 Chester Road North for a distance of 17.7 metres in a north easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

(U13012 Northwood Lane, Bewdley) (Temporary 20 mph Speed Limit) Order 2026

Order made: To impose a temporary 20 mph speed limit in both directions on that part of U13012 Northwood Ln from a point 275 metres north of its junction with U10301 Riverway Dr for a distance of 505 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Safety zone due to scaffolding and retaining wall repairs by WCC.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days continuing from 27 April 2026.
