Harriet Street - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate the Construction of a New Apartment Block on Harriet Street
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford has made under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (HARRIET STREET, SALFORD) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Harriet Street, Walkden, M28 3JW. The Order is to facilitate the construction of a new apartment block on Harriet Street.
The order is due to come into operation on Tuesday 9th June 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The diversion routes are via Egerton Road - Emlyn Street, vice versa.
