(GARDEN AVENUE, LITTLETOWN, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Garden Avenue, Littletown from its junction with Bradford Road to a point outside property no. 1 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bradford Road, Reuben Street, Garden Parade, the unaffected length of Garden Avenue.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 18 May 2026 and remain in force until 29 May 2026 between 07:30 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(JACK LANE, HANGING HEATON, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Jack Lane, Hanging Heaton from its junction with Savile Street to its junction with Peter Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Jack Lane, Commonside, Wood Lane, Mill Lane, Rouse Mill Lane, Bradford Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 18 May 2026 and remain in force until 31 July 2026 between 07:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(MOORCROFT ROAD, DEWSBURY MOOR, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Moorcroft Road, Dewsbury Moor from its junction with School Lane to a point outside property No. 2 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via School Lane, Moorcroft Drive, Moorcroft Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence at 00:00 hours on Tuesday, 19 May 2026 and remain in force until 23:59 hours on 26 May 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(WESTROYD AVENUE, SCHOLES, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Westroyd Avenue, Scholes from a point at rear of 139 Hunsworth Lane to a point at rear of 133 Hunsworth Lane, Scholes PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Westroyd Avenue, Hunsworth Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 18
May 2026 and remain in force until 26 May 2026 between 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(OLD BANK ROAD, EARLSHEATON, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Old Bank Road, Earlsheaton, Dewsbury PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:-
Diversion 1 - Old Bank Road, Wakefield Road
Diversion 2 - Hollinroyd Road, Bank Street, Highgate Road, Leeds Road, Wakefield Road
The closure which commenced on Thursday, 23April 2026 between 07:30 hours to 17:30 hours has been extended to remain in force until 12 June 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
