Somerset Council Parish of West Quantoxhead Temporary Closure of The Avenue

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: The Avenue - from the junction with Staple Lane, north-eastwards for a total distance of 84 metres. This Order will enable KNTC Ltd to lay new duct on behalf of Openreach.

The Order becomes effective on 14th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 20th May 2026 and last until 22nd May 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 for a total of 3 days.
