What is happening?

Somerset Council Parish of Dulverton Temporary Closure of Amory Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Amory Road - from the junction with Barnsclose North to the junction with Musgraves. A total distance of 132 metres. This Order will enable Network Plus to carry out cable diversion for street light supply on behalf of National Grid.

The Order becomes effective on 14th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 18th May 2026 and last until 26th May 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 9 days.
