Lyngford Road - Temporary Road Closure Due To Resurfacing Works

Somerset Council Parish of Taunton Temporary Closure of Lyngford Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Lyngford Road - from the junction with Priorswood Road to the junction with Eastwick Road. A total distance of 685 metres.

This Order will enable Heidelberg to carry out resurfacing works on behalf of Somerset Highways. The Order becomes effective on 14th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 21st May 2026 and last until 3rd June 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 (Monday - Fridays only) for a total of 10 days.
