(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
(ARMYTAGE WAY, BRIGHOUSE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Armytage Way from its junction with Armytage Road to Wakefield Road for a distance of approximately 125 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Armytage Road, Locksley Road, Wakefield Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 18th May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(BROAD TREE ROAD, OVENDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Broad Tree Road from No. 1 to No. 3 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Keighley Road, Field Head Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 18th May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 20th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(MOUNT PELLON, PELLON)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Mount Pellon from its junction with Mount Pellon Road to Church Lane for a distance of approximately 55 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Mount Pellon, Stretchgate Lane, Pellon New Road, Spring Hall Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 18th May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(DANNY LANE, LUDDENDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Group have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Danny Lane from its junction with Burnley Road to sub station for a distance of approximately 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Danny Lane, Magson House Road, John Naylor Lane, Burnley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(LOWER EDGE ROAD, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Alfa Site Services Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Lower Edge Road from Shaw Lane to Old Earth School for a distance of approximately 80 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Elland Road, Elland Riorges Link, Dewsbury Road, New Hey Road, Delf Hill. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(FOOTPATH BRIGHOUSE 099, RASTRICK)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Gleeson South and West Yorkshire intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath Brighouse 099 from its junction with Quarry Road for a distance of approximately 181 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. The alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th November 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(PLANE TREE NEST LANE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Plane Tree Nest Lane from its junction with Plane Tree Nest to Trimmingham Lane for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Trimmingham Lane, Burnley Road, Warley Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(WALKER LANE, OLD TOWN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Walker Lane from its junction with Lane Ends Lane to Ibbotroyd Farm for a distance of approximately 200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Walker Lane, Parrock Lane, Sandy Gater, Sandy Gate Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(LONG GATE, RISHWORTH)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Long Gate from its junction with Long Causeway to Pike Law Cottage for a distance of approximately 150 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Rishworth New Road, Oldham Road, Pike End Road, unaffected part of Long Gate and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
