What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE WINDLEY LANE, BELPER
WHEN: 20 May 2026 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Windley Lane, Belper between its Jct. with Ecclesbourne Lane and B5023.
REASON: To facilitate pole testing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wirksworth Road, Ecclesbourne Lane vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
