The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Moorfield Lane, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst pole replacement works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 22/5/26 between the hours of 8:00 and 17:00. The following road is affected: Moorfield Lane, Newport from its jcn with Longford Rd for approx. 220m in a southerly direction. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 22/5/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
