THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Dugald Stewart Avenue, Bo'ness from 08:00 until 17:00 on 17/05/26. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Dugald Stewart Avenue, Bo'ness from a point adjacent to Dean Road in a northerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Dean Road, Erngath Road, Dugald Stewart Avenue or vice versa.

Nicolton Road, Polmont from 00:01 on 18/05/26 until 23:59 on 22/05/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Nicolton Road, Polmont from a point adjacent to A803 in a southerly direction for approximately 700 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: A803, B810, B805, Carron Terrace, Nicolton Road or vice versa.

Union Street, Stenhousemuir from 09:30 until 18:00 on 18/05/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Union Street, Stenhousemuir from a point adjacent to B905 in a southerly direction for approximately 25 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Union Street, Church Street, Munro Street, B905 or vice versa.

Windsor Road, Falkirk from 07:30hrs on 18/05/26 until 17:00hrs on 25/05/26. The prohibition is to allow carriageway repair works to be undertaken.
1. This Order temporarily closes: Windsor Road from its junction with Glenfuir Road to its junction with Windsor Crescent.
2. The alternative route is Glenfuir Road, Westburn Avenue, Maggie Woods Loan, Windsor Road and vice versa.

Callendar Road, Falkirk from 22:00 on 19/05/26 until 06:00 on 20/05/26. The prohibition is to allow for vegetation clearance to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Callendar Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Mary Street Roundabout in a westerly direction for approximately 200 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: A803, A904, A803, A9, B805, A803 or vice versa.

Lochhead Avenue, Denny from 09:30 until 18:00 on 19/05/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Lochhead Avenue, Denny from a point adjacent to Loney Crescent in a northern direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Loney Crescent, Shanks Avenue, Anderson Drive, Lochhead Avenue or vice versa.
