TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES FOR SPECIAL EVENTS – BIG SHIFT CAR FREE DAYS TYERS STREET
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, to enable local residents/communities to hold special events as part of the Big Shift Car Free Days initiative, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth has made an Order the effect of which will be to ban vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading, unloading or parking in that length of Tyers Street which lies between its junctions with Laud Street and Kennington Lane, between 7am on 16 May 2026 and 7pm on 17 May 2026.
2. During the restrictions specified in paragraph 1 above, all parking places situated within the length of Tyers Street specified will be suspended.
3. The restrictions will only apply at such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by the placing of the appropriate traffic signs on the dates and times specified above.
