Derbyshire - Temporary Road Closure For Deck Replacement Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
FLACKETS LANE, GROVE LANE, MARSTON LANE, SUDBURY
WHEN: 01 June to 01 July 2026 (Night working only between 20:00 to 05:00)
WHERE: Flackets Lane, Grove Lane, Marston Lane, Sudbury road bridges over A50.
REASON: To facilitate bridge deck replacement works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Road, Sudbury, A515 Ashbourne Road, Oak Lane, Hollyhurst Lane, Waldley Lane, Marston Lane, and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
